Barbecued Potato Casserole

Another from The Complete Holiday Cookbook Labor Day menu. Be thankful I didn't post the English Pea Casserole Special...I expected this to have BBQ sauce, but no - it just refers to heating the 'mixure' at the end, though few clues are given on that!

Barbecued Potato Casserole

Potatoes (no kind or quantity listed)
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
5 finely chopped green onions
1/4 tsp. dried dillweed
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Cook potatoes in jackets in salted water.  Peel; dice enough to make 1 quart.  Combine all ingredients except sour cream and mayonnaise gently.  Let stand for 1 hour or longer.  Add sour cream and mayonnaise; mix lightly Turn into casserole.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 - 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.  May heat mixture on BBQ grill in saucepan.  Yield:  5-6 servings.
