Flickr Fun

There is a reason I'm not allowed to take pictures at teen events at the library -I can't get a straight shot to save my life. Readers have probably noticed that about my food shots already, though.

A kind coworker got me this Blue Suede Shoes license plate. I'll have to put it on when the husband is not home at some point and see if he notices...

I had to take a picture this morning and upload it to Flickr, and that was my effort. Flickr is pretty fun, and I can definitely see how teens would like it. I also think this is wonderful for families who are far apart, or to take pictures from conferences so folks can enjoy virtually being there. A reference librarian here found a picture of me and Jack Gantos from the ALA Conference, one of the classiest authors it has been my pleasure to meet on Flickr - that I didn't even know was taken! I wrote the photographer and thanked him for one of the few shots of myself I've ever liked (there will be no link here, though!).

Also, though, a kind librarian friend from Seattle sent me The Life and Cuisine of Elvis Presley. As you can see from the cover, eating lots of these recipes will cause you to get an AED for your household...
