Handwritten Gems from the Little Black Book

As promised, here is the little black book of recipes from the plaid box I purchased. I believe these are the recipes of the owner's mother, and the rest are her own. The writing is a bit different.
Here's the Table of Contents, though I don't really get the numbering system:
1. Potato Cake
2. Pie Crust
2. Baking Powder Biscuit
3. Brown loaf cake
3. Cocoanut Drop Cookies
4. Date bake
5. Fruit Salad
6. Coffee Cake (Olga's)
7. Dill Pickles
7. Macaroon
8. Pimento Sandwich
9. Pop-corn Brittle
9. Pear Conserve
10. Banana Pie
11. Almond Cookies
12. Christmas Cookies
13. Plum Pudding Sauce
14. Date bake - Emmas
15. Graham Cracker bake
16. Mabel's bake
17. Rocks
18. Jam Bread
18. coffee bake

From the clippings in this booklet, I've deduced that this person cooked in the late 50's early 60's.  There are actually more recipes than made the Table of Contents, but I was intrigued by #17 Rocks:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1 teas soda
1 teas cinnamon
3/4 lb. raisin
1/4 lb. walnuts
Bake in drop cakes.

That's it. No temperature or length. Interesting. It's smudged so she must have used this one often. Which other recipes do you want to see from here?
