This is the last one from the Better Homes and Gardens Junior Cook Book 1963 printing for a while. Next week we'll be having a Pie Party to celebrate my good friend Anne Ylvisaker's new book. More on that soon!
Grape Tapioca (Yes, I know it's crooked - I tried three times to scan it straight. No time today! :) )
You'll need: 1/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 1/2 cups grape juice, Dash salt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Take out: measuring spoons and cups, saucepan, wooden spoon, potholder, dessert dishes
1. Put tapioca, sugar, salt, grape juice in a saucepan. Mix well.
2. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture boils. Stir in the lemon juice. Cool.
3. After 20 minutes, stir the pudding. Spoon into dessert dishes. Chill then serve.
Why grape?
